Beautiful Bella!

When Charlie got to school this morning, he discovered that our butterfly was nearly ready to burst out of its chrysalis! He was right! We got back to class after lunch and our beautiful Bella was there! Kiana and Cory carefully helped Bella onto a plant in our Butterfly Garden. She was drying her wings in the sun when we left school at 3pm.

Fluency and Phrasing

Caitlyn led us as we read our Shared Book on Monday. We have been working hard to read with fluency and phrasing. We make our reading sound like talking, read groups of words and read with fantastic expression. Mr McDoodle sounded GREAT!

Today we are going to learn to brainstorm our ideas using a programme called Tagxedo. Have a go at home.

A Busy Week!

We had a really busy week in Room 20.
Here's a few photos to show you some of the things we did!

 "What is maths?"  We shared our ideas.

          Stevi was a great group leader.

 Khalis on a Netbook. We learnt to use Wordart.

 We learnt how to log on and how to find our class blog.
  We tried a game that will help us to learn our Basic Facts.

 

We did some art work on Friday. Eden loved it!

     Peter was concentrating hard to make sure he did a great job!

        Tidy up time! We are pretty good at doing our end of day jobs. :)

On Friday we are going to have our first "Affirmation Circle." We will all tell someone or a group of people something that we like about them. We watched this video to get inspired. :)

I told the class that when they could do etap all on their own without me having to talk then I would make them a delicious chocolate cake. It didn't take long...watch and see, everyone was at school this morning!
